Cozy Crochet Pumpkin Pillow

Crochet the coziest autumnal pillow of your dreams with this pumpkin pillow pattern! Crocheted with super bulky weight yarn, this pillow can be made in just a few days for a quick and easy way to bring a little autumnal charm into your space. It’s been two years since I last released a crochet pumpkin pattern (see my other pumpkin patterns here)! I actually had the idea for this design last year, but I simply didn’t have enough time to bring this design to life, so I archived the idea for another time. I’m so thrilled to be sharing this ultra cozy design with you this year! I don’t crochet with super bulky weight yarn much anymore, so I’m always pleasantly surprised with how quickly projects work up in a thicker yarn. This pumpkin pillow is no different! I was able to crochet the larger size in just a few days, and the smaller pillow can be crocheted in just a day!

While you can use any super bulky weight yarn, I definitely recommend using Bernat Blanket yarn. This yarn is what gives this pillow the plushy, soft, coziness that we all want with a crochet pillow! Size: This are approximate measurements, after stuffing the pumpkin. The size may vary based on how little or much the pumpkin is stuffed. Yarn over, insert hook into st, yarn over, pull through st AND first loop on hook (this is similar to a slip stitch). 2 loops on hook. Yarn over, pull through both loops. Yarn over, insert hook into st, yarn over, pull through st AND first loop on hook. Yarn over insert hook into next st, yarn over, pull through st AND first loop on hook, yarn over pull through all loops on hook. Round 1: Work 8 hhdc into the magic circle (8 sts). Round 2: Work 2 hhdc in each st (16 sts). NOTE: At this point I recommend stuffing the pumpkin.
