The just recently released SIA staffing report and rankings counted 224 staffing firms with $100 million or more in U.S. staffing earnings, down 7% from 241 last year. Of the companies certifying for both this year's and last year's list, 75% experienced a decline in profits. SIA research study analyst Kevin Chen recommends fewer firms landed on the list this year because of declining budgets, longer sales cycles, and a more competitive landscape.

Highspring's ranking, based on annual earnings, puts it among the 15% of all staffing companies in the U.S.
