What is SMM and MM stands for?

In online marketing. SMM stands for "Social Media Marketing". This marketing method is used within social sites like Facebook, Twitter, telegram subscribers and YouTube. In some cases the marketing methods are done illicitly against the site terms of service. For example in Youtube some people spam links within their comments, this is not permitted. On the other hand if you post a video, you can place links within the description of your own videos, and on your own channel.

SMM is also sometimes referred to as SMO or "Social Media Optimization". This however is different from marketing in that the focus is on optimizing an existing SMM campaign.
